This website (www.grandwhisky.com) (the “Site”) is maintained by The Grande Whisky Museum Pte Ltd (“we”, “us”). Access to and use of this Site is subject always to the following terms and conditions. By using this Site you indicate that you accept these terms and conditions and you agree to abide by them. The Grande Whisky Museum Private Limited reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time by amending this page of the Site. Some of the provisions contained in these terms and conditions may also be superseded by provisions or notices published elsewhere on the Site. It is your responsibility to review these terms and conditions regularly to keep up to date with any changes to them.

Information About Us and Disclaimers

This Site is operated by The Grande Whisky Museum Pte Ltd.  We are registered in Singapore under company number 201425972W and located at 3 Temasek Blvd, Tower 5, #01-455, Singapore 038983.

This Site is subject to regular update and revision. While we attempt to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all material posted on the Site, we take no responsibility for errors or omissions which are the result of circumstances outside our control, technical causes, or otherwise, nor will we be liable if for any reason our Site is unavailable at any time or for any period. We maintain the right to delete or modify the content, presentation, performance, facilities and availability of all or part of this Site without notice.

We do not guarantee that material on this Site will be free from a distributed denial-of-service attack, viruses, worms, Trojan horses or any other technologically harmful material that may have contaminating or destructive properties. It is your responsibility to take protective steps such as installing virus checking software.

Limitation of Liability

To the full extent permissible by law, The Grande Whisky Museum assumes no responsibility or liability for any information published on this Site and further disclaims all liability in respect of such information. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we hereby expressly exclude: all conditions, warranties and other terms which might otherwise be implied by statute or common law; any liability for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage incurred by any user in connection with our Site or in connection with the use, inability to use, or results of the use of our Site, any websites linked to it and any materials posted on it, including, without limitation any liability for loss of income or revenue; loss of business; loss of data; loss of goodwill; wasted management or office time; and for any other loss or damage of any kind, however, arising and whether caused by tort (including negligence), breach of contract or otherwise, even if foreseeable.

This does not affect our liability for death or personal injury arising from our negligence, nor our liability for fraudulent misrepresentation or misrepresentation as to a fundamental matter, nor any other liability which cannot be excluded by law.

We reserve the right to grant access to this Site at our absolute discretion. Access may be denied by us, for any reason, without notice.

Viruses, hacking and other offences

You must not misuse our Site by knowingly introducing viruses, Trojans, worms, logic bombs or other material which is malicious or technologically harmful. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to our Site, the server on which our Site is stored or any server, computer or database connected to our Site. You must not attack our Site via a denial-of-service attack or a distributed denial-of-service attack. By breaching this provision, you would commit a criminal offence under the PDPA. We will report any such breach to the relevant law enforcement authorities and we will co-operate with those authorities by disclosing your identity to them. In the event of such breach, your right to use our Site will cease immediately.

This Site contains links to other websites and information on the Internet which may be of interest. These websites and their contents are not endorsed or promoted by us in any way, unless otherwise stated. We have no control over such outside websites and you acknowledge by your use of this Site that The Grande Whisky Museum can accept no responsibility for the content of the these external sites and should you choose to use them then you do so at your own risk. For the avoidance of doubt you expressly agree that you will not create any links from any other website to the whole or any part of our Site, either directly or indirectly, without our express prior written permission.

Intellectual Property

The intellectual property in our Site, and all material published on this Site, unless specifically indicated otherwise, is owned by (or licensed to) The Grande Whisky Museum and must not be reproduced in any medium save as provided in terms of this paragraph. You may view the Site and download any part of it to a personal computer so that you can view it for private purposes. None of the material, nor its content, nor any copy of it, may be altered in any way, transmitted to, or distributed to any other party without our express prior written permission in each case.

License

  1. With effect from 2 January 2024, regulation 11 of the Liquor Control (Supply and Consumption) (Liquor Licensing) Regulations 2015 will be amended to regulate the supply of liquor to persons younger than 18 years, through any one or more of the following means: (a) online (whether through an electronic commerce platform or otherwise), or (b) a telecommunication service. The new requirements are as follows:

(a) A licensee, and an employee of the licensee, must not supply any liquor to an individual who is younger than 18 years online (whether through electronic commerce platforms or otherwise) or through a telecommunication service;

(b) A licensee, and an employee of the licensee, who supplies liquor to an individual online (other than through a third-party electronic commerce platform) or through a telecommunication service, must: i. warn the individual that it is an offence for the individual to buy liquor if the individual is younger than 18 years, and ii. inform the individual of the penalty for the offence;

(c) A licensee, and an employee of the licensee, who supplies liquor to an individual through a third-party electronic commerce platform must not do so if the licensee or employee knows, or ought reasonably to know, that the person operating the electronic commerce platform does not do any of the following: i. take all reasonable steps to ascertain that the individual is 18 years or older; ii. warn the individual that it is an offence for the individual to buy liquor if the individual is younger than 18 years, and iii. inform the individual of the penalty for the offence.

  1. A breach of regulation 11 of the Liquor Control (Supply and Consumption) (Liquor Licensing) Regulations 2015 is an offence, punishable with a fine not exceeding $10,000.

  2. An electronic commerce platform/an online platform which (a) enables an individual to buy an item online through the platform; (b) allows the individual to pay for the item online through the platform; and (c) automatically confirms with the individual a delivery address for the item will require a licence to supply liquor. In addition, these electronic commerce platforms are also encouraged to put up notices warning sellers of the need to be licensed in order to supply liquor. Electronic commence platforms will be requested to assist the Singapore Police Force in taking down any such listings put up by these unlicensed sellers, whether they are detected by the Singapore Police Force or otherwise.

ONLINE TICKETING TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. Ticket holders must arrive at The Grande Whisky Museum (TGWM) ticket desk at least 15 minutes prior to the time printed on the ticket or show on mobile. Should you miss your allocated time entry cannot be guaranteed.
  2. Your booking reference must be produced as proof of booking on the day of the visit.
  3. Payments for tickets are non-refundable.
  4. Tickets cannot be transferred to a different date or time.
  5. All persons taking the TGWM Tour must purchase a ticket. Tickets must be retained at all times and submitted for inspection if required.
  6. Any tickets purchased in advance are not valid in conjunction with any other voucher, promotion, special offer or package.
  7. No ticket may be resold. If TGWM reasonably believes that a ticket has been resold, the holder may be refused entry to the TGWM Tour without payment of compensation.
  8.  Prices may be subject to change, however all pre booked tickets will be honoured at the rate applied at the time of purchase.
  9.  Whisky tasting experience is strictly for those aged 18+ years old. In all cases proof of age must be provided.
  10.  Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult, aged 18 years or over at all times.
  11.  To prevent offensive weapons or dangerous articles from being taken into the Tour Experience, all visitors are admitted subject to a condition that, if requested to do so, they will allow themselves and/or their belongings to be searched.
  12.  In accordance with Singapore law smoking is strictly prohibited.
  13. As a licensed premises TGWM retains the right at its discretion to refuse entry.
  14. TGWM will endeavour to ensure that the tour experience is open for use by visitors. However, TGWM reserves the right, in its discretion, for safety, maintenance or otherwise to close any part of the experience with or without prior notice. In the event of such closure TGWM will issue visitors with a full refund for their ticket, but otherwise shall have no liability whatever, including no liability for travel or out of pocket expenses in respect of closure or cancellation.

All Saint-Louis House membership candidates must be at least 18 years of age.

  1. Saint-Louis House Membership and Organisation 1.1 The name of the membership package is Saint-Louis House Membership (‘SLHM’). 1.2 The Saint-Louis House (“SLH”) is a proprietary organization, owned, managed and operated at 3 Temasek Boulevard 01-455, Tower 5, Suntec City, Singapore 038983.

  2. Objects The objects of the SLHM are to provide recreational facilities at the Saint-Louis House – members’ night, whisky tasting events, members-only invited events, new whisky bottle launches, VIP room, for its Members and Members’ guests in a sociable environment.

  3. Primary Concepts 3.1. The SLH premises are located at 3 Temasek Boulevard 01-455, Tower 5, Suntec City, Singapore 038983. 3.2. The Management is responsible for providing the membership packages and all necessary facilities for carrying on the membership packages in accordance with the Objects of the Membership and these Rules and Regulations. 3.3. Membership shall consist of Members (hereinafter called “Members” and “Membership” shall be construed accordingly). 3.4. The Rules and Regulations shall be applicable to all Members and as appropriate Members’ guests and permitted guests.

  4. Control Management The Management shall have all administrative powers necessary to carry out the Objects of the Membership packages in accordance with these Rules and Regulations.

  5. Details of Membership 5.1. Every candidate for Membership must be at least 18 years of age. 5.2. Proposals for Membership shall be made on the form provided for that purpose by SLH and a valid form of identification is required to verify Membership and eligibility for Membership.  5.3. The SLH charges all new members a one-time joining fee and according to selected membership packages with credits - Explore, Immerse, Elite, Grande and this must be paid before membership in finalized. Thereafter an annual membership fee is paid by all members and is payable on demand. The SLH reserves the right in its absolute discretion to change the Membership Fee each year. The Management’s decision shall be final and binding. 5.4. The Management shall have sole discretion as to who shall become a Member of the SLH and shall have the right to refuse any application for Membership for any reason without giving any explanation. 5.5. A successful candidate shall be notified of his/her membership and shall become a Member of the SLH and shall thereafter be entitled to all the benefits and privileges of such Membership.  Members will be issued with a Virtual Membership card. 5.6. All Members agree to be bound by, and to observe at all times, these Rules and Regulations. 5.7. Membership is non-transferable and non-refundable. Members must be present at all visits. 5.8. A list of the names and contact details of all Members of the SLH must be kept on the SLH premises and produced on demand for inspection by a police officer. 5.9. The Management reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, to terminate the Membership of any Member for any reason and at any time. 5.10. The name of a Member whose Membership is terminated will be removed from the list of registered Members and he/she will immediately cease to be a Member of the SLH 5.11. Facilities for members must be booked in advance and subject to availability. 5.12. Priority of reservation and booking availability will be given to higher tier of membership or subject to availability. 5.13. Upon expiry of the Membership, the member will no longer be a member and he/she will no longer be entitled to receive any Membership benefits. 5.14. Renewal of Membership: When each Membership Period approaches an end, the SLH will send a renewal reminder. If you do not wish to renew your Membership you must inform the SLH at the earliest opportunity and preferably at least 28 days before the end of your Membership period. No renewal fee will be charged before the expiry date of the membership.

  6. Guests 6.1. Subject to the provisions of these Rules and Regulations, Members based on the membership package may invite guests who have attained the age of 18 years unless told otherwise by the Management. 6.1.1. Explore members can bring up to three guests at each visit. 6.1.2. Immerse members can bring up to four guests at each visit. 6.1.3. Elite members can bring up to five guests at each visit. 6.1.4. Grande members can bring up to eight guests at each visit. 6.2. The Management reserves the right to admit non-members as his or her guest up to the capacity allowed at the Premise. 6.3. The following may not be admitted as guests to the SLH: 6.3.1. former Members who have been expelled; 6.3.2. persons who, having applied for Membership, have been rejected; 6.3.3. persons who are under 18 years old; and 6.3.4. Members who are under suspension.

  7. Conduct of Members 7.1. The Management, or any person(s) designated by the Management, shall have the right to refuse any Member entrance to the SLH. 7.2. All Members and guests are required to maintain an acceptable standard of dress at SLH.
    7.3. The Management may require any Member infringing these Rules and Regulations to leave the SLH premises immediately and his/her Membership may be withdrawn as detailed in Rule 8 below. 7.4. SLH promotes responsible drinking and seek all members to respect this. SLH reserves the right to limit alcoholic beverages if a guest is not drinking responsibly.

  8. Expulsion of Members 8.1. The Management, or any SLH manager/employee so authorised by the Management, may expel from SLH (and subsequently terminate or suspend from Membership for a specific period) any Member whose conduct inside or outside the SLH premises, in the opinion of the Management, or such SLH manager/employee might be injurious to the character or interests of SLH or render him unfit to associate with Members or if any Member should wilfully remove, destroy or damage any item, article or property belonging to the SLH, another Member, or a guest,  whilst at the SLH. 8.2. SLH Rules: For the avoidance of doubt, the following (non-exhaustive) list of behaviour or offences will lead to the immediate expulsion of a Member from the SLH premises and may lead to suspension or termination of their Membership: • Violent, abusive or intimidating conduct • The use of, possession of, or sale of illicit drugs and/or contraband and/or weapons • Sexual, racial or any other form of discrimination, harassment or bullying towards any other Member or employee of the SLH • Rudeness or bad language to a Member or an employee of the SLH • Any action likely to bring the SLH into disrepute • Any action likely to prejudice the SLH’s Premises Licence • Serious insubordination under the influence of alcohol • Deliberate damage to SLH property • Illegal gaming or betting in the SLH • Any action, within or outside the SLH, likely to cause a disturbance to tenants in neighbouring properties 8.3 Before a Member is suspended or his/her Membership terminated, the alleged offender's conduct shall be inquired into and the person involved shall be given the opportunity to defend himself/herself and to justify or explain his/her behaviour. 8.4. Having inquired into the events, if the Management is of the opinion that the Member is guilty of such conduct as mentioned above and has failed to justify or explain it satisfactorily, the Management may either suspend or terminate the Membership of the offender at its discretion. 8.5. Any request for refund due to suspension or termination is subject to Management discretion.

  9. Sale and Supply of Alcohol 9.1. Sale or supply of alcohol in the SLH is permitted within the hours and conditions permitted under the Premises Licence in respect of the SLH premises.

  10. General Rules 10.1. The SLH shall use all reasonable endeavours to ensure that no Member receives less favourable treatment on the grounds of their sex, race, religion or belief, disability, marital status, age, religion, sexual orientation, nationality, colour or ethnic origin. 10.2. Nothing in these Rules and Regulations shall be deemed to exclude the SLH’s liability for death and/or personal injury arising out of any negligent or unlawful act by the SLH. 10.3. All property brought into the SLH premises by any Member or his/her guest shall be at the sole risk of the person bringing such property onto the SLH premises and neither the Proprietor, the Management nor any employee or agent of the SLH shall be liable for any loss or damage to any such article, howsoever occasioned. 10.4. The SLH has established a Privacy Policy in respect of the confidence its Members places in it and in conformity with high standards of data protection to which it is committed. The SLH is registered to hold personal data under the Personal Data Protection Act 2012.  By becoming a Member it is acknowledged that any personal information ("Personal Information") that Members and/ or their guests make available to the SLH either through the Membership process, access to the SLH, and/or the Membership web site or otherwise is done so voluntarily and with the relevant Member’s/ guest’s knowledge and consent. 10.5. Members agree to keep all passwords, user names, and/or any other identifying information used on or in connection with the SLH and/or its web site (the “Access Profile”) private and secure.   The Access Profile is strictly personal and may not be shared with or disclosed to any other party.  Members understand that the Access Profile is confidential and that they will be held responsible for any damage caused through use of the Access Profile by any unauthorised person. 10.6. Cancellation of Bookings for the members-only events Members can use the credits available to book for the invited events organised for the members. Receipts will be issued, all prices include GST. No refund of the credits once the booking is made however we will always do our best to accommodate any last- minute emergencies. 10.6.1. Booking for events is subject to availability, and regardless of Membership level. Bookings of more than one ticket for onsite events are at the discretion of the Membership Team. 10.6.3. Bookings will be confirmed by email. If confirmation is not received, your payment and booking may not have been successful. Please contact the Membership Team if this occurs. 10.6.4. The SLH reserves the right to cancel any event, in which case you will be fully refunded. 10.6.5. Tickets may not be resold or offered for resale by anyone without the permission of the SLH.

  11. Alteration of rules These Rules and Regulations may be revoked, supplemented or altered by the Management at any time. Any such revocation, alteration or addition shall be deemed to have been brought to the notice of Members provided that a copy thereof is prominently displayed on the Membership’s official website.

  12. Dissolution The SLHM may be dissolved by the Management at any time.

  13. Disputes 13.1. Any dispute or difference which may arise in respect of these Rules and Regulations and/or in relation to Membership or operation of the SLH shall be determined by the Management, whose decision shall be final and binding on all Members.

REFUNDS

No refund will be provided for any goods or services sold. In the event of a wrong booking, please write in to enquiries@grandwhisky.com and provide proof of transaction and order number.
